CLICK HERE  to hear Jerry interview Andrew about his first book, "Where the Angels Have Risen."

Andrew is having a book-signing for his newly released book, "The Heretic" this coming Saturday, December 15, 2007- from 1pm - 6pm at B. Dalton Bookstore in the Galleria Mall, 1300 Sunset Rd. #2713 Henderson NV.

He will be giving away one free copy of his book, "When The Angels Have Risen," toward the first five books of "The Heretic" that are purchased at the event.

Synopsis of
"The Heretic":

New Historical Fiction Novel Introduces a Hero – Warrior, Teacher, Lover – from Ancient Greece

When a man begins experiencing bizarre dreams, a visit to a psychic transports him to the time of Alexander the Great, and he discovers the amazing truth about his past in Andrew Feder’s new historical fiction novel, The Heretic, the sequel to When The Angels Have Risen.

After questioning his bizarre dreams and an unexplained sudden knowledge of ancient Greek, Jerry Fletcher seeks the help of a psychic, who suggests that he undergo past life regression. Under this treatment, Jerry begins remembering his past lives –a Jew during the Warsaw Ghetto uprising, a young Arapaho brave, a knight during the Middle Ages – until he stops in Ancient Greece with Aias, a Spartan who was renowned during his time as the world’s greatest warrior, but whose name went unrecorded in history.

Aias was not only Alexander the Great’s mentor and true friend, he was a highly skilled warrior – akin to a ninja – and an inspiring military hero. The name of Aias has been mysteriously removed from Alexander’s journal, but now the truth of this daring man is finally revealed, from the brutal military campaigns to the erotic escapades.

Alexander the Great often compared Aias to Illiad’s Hector and Achilles.

Ptlomey thought that Aias was perhaps a God reincarnate from Olympus.

Alexander called him Aries incarnate.

His enemies called him Aias the Decapitator.

Aristotle called him The Heretic.

And the women of Greece called him … well, you’ll have to read the book to find out.

A story of romance and violence, adventure and spirituality, "The Heretic" unveils a new legend at home with the classics.

RADIO SHOWS DIRECT FROM THE CASBAR LOUNGE

This series of radio shows was recorded in December and January (2004-2005) This is the first in a series of shows for Internet Broadcasting that we are originating from Las Vegas. We will be adding more originations of our Las Vegas based radio shows later this summer.

We chose the Casbar and the Sahara Hotel to begin this series of programs because of sentimental value. For several years I worked as a stand up comic in addition to my broadcast work, I had a comedy partner, Bobby Sessions. Our first Las Vegas stage appearance was at the Sandy Hackett Showcase at the Casbar in the middle 1980s.

So scroll down and enjoy the shows.  First though, a little more about the history of the Casbar Lounge and one of its major stars in earlier years, Don Rickles.

Don Rickles will be back at the Stardust Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, October 20 to 24, 2005. Our shows on this page originate from the Casbar Theatre Lounge at the Sahara Hotel and Casino. The lounge is at a different location in the Casino area than it was in the 60s and 70s. Back then, many comic acts as well as music groups played the lounge. One of the most popular was Don Rickles whose non-stop banter with the audience and celebrity guests would go for hours.

Just a short walk down and on the other side of the casino was the main show room. The Congo room was dominated by comics as well, major names such as Jerry Lewis and Johnny Carson. This interview from back in the late 80s on KVEG AM 840 as it was then, shows Rickles on top of his game. We naturally start off the interview talking about the late great Johnny Carson.

As you heard me say in the interview with Don Rickles, I used to do stand-up comedy. I worked for a long time with an impressionist by the name of Bobby Sessions. Here is a sample of our work from 1986.

Marina tells Jerry about a group of women who are going to demonstrate nude in honor of Woman's Day. Marina tells Jerry about plans to have a similar outing in Las Vegas in May.
